Merilyn Hernandez received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Merced in 2015. During her studies, she explored different mediums and took an internship abroad where she worked on the Queenhithe Mosaic Timeline in London, which is now installed along the north bank of the River Thames. Soon after this project was finished, she looked for other opportunities to engage in socially motivated public art, leading her to work on the first mural created for the public in south Merced. T
