Sara was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She received a BFA in Art & Design from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she went to Israel where she participated in a MASA program teaching English to elementary school students for a year in Netanya. Upon completion of the program, she moved to New York City for four years working as an art teacher at The Shefa School. She recently started her career as a full time artist.
